आविध्याथ गदां सोऽपि चिक्षेप चण्डिकां प्रति । सापि देव्या त्रिशूलेन भिन्ना भस्मत्वमागता ॥ १५ ॥

Translation
Whirling a mace, he hurled it at Chandika, but it too was shattered by the Devi's trident and turned to ash.
