शूलेन पाहि नो देवि पाहि खड्गेन चाम्बिके । घण्टास्वनेन नः पाहि चापज्यानिःस्वनेन च ॥ २४ ॥

Translation
Protect us with your spear, O Devi; protect us with your sword, O Ambika; protect us with the sound of your bell and the twang of your bowstring.
Hindi Meaning (हिंदी अर्थ)
हे देवि! शूल से हमारी रक्षा कीजिए; हे अम्बिके! खड्ग से भी हमारी रक्षा कीजिए; घंटे की ध्वनि और धनुष की टंकार से भी हमारी रक्षा कीजिए।
Commentary
Verses 24–27 switch to the simple anushtubh metre and become a protective prayer. Shulena pahi no devi is recited on its own as a kavacha (armour) for protection.
