Headless trunks, holding their best weapons, fought the Devi; others danced there to the rhythm of the battle drums.

बिना सिर के धड़ उत्तम आयुध लेकर देवी से लड़ने लगे; और कुछ युद्ध के बाजों की लय पर वहाँ नाचने लगे।
