Translation
Indra, lord of the immortals, thousand-eyed, produced a thunderbolt from his own thunderbolt and gave it to her, and a bell from his elephant Airavata.
Hindi Meaning (हिंदी अर्थ)
Commentary
The bell from Airavata becomes the Devi's bell, whose sound stuns the demons in 2.56. Gita Press notes a variant spelling, samutpāṭya (with a retroflex ṭ).
