Translation
Varuna gave her a conch; Agni, a spear; Maruta (the wind), a bow and two quivers full of arrows.

वरुण ने शंख, अग्नि ने शक्ति, और वायु ने धनुष तथा बाणों से भरे दो तरकस दिए।
Commentary
These are the weapons seen in images of Durga. Each has a giver, so each image of her carries the whole story of the gods' union.
