सौम्येन स्तनयोर्युग्मं मध्यं चैन्द्रेण चाभवत् । वारुणेन च जङ्घोरू नितम्बस्तेजसा भुवः ॥ १५ ॥
saumyena stanayoryugmaṁ madhyaṁ chaindreṇa chābhavat vāruṇena cha jaṅghorū nitambastejasā bhuvaḥ
Translation
from the moon's, her two breasts; from Indra's, her waist; from Varuna's, her thighs and shanks; and from the earth's radiance, her hips.

चन्द्रमा के तेज से दोनों स्तन, इन्द्र के तेज से कटि, वरुण के तेज से जंघा और पिंडलियाँ, और पृथ्वी के तेज से नितंब बने।
Commentary
The nourishing breasts come from the gentle moon; the firm hips from the stable earth. The body of the Devi is the whole of nature.
