and from the bodies of the other gods, Indra and the rest, a very great radiance came out, and it all came together as one.

और इन्द्र आदि अन्य देवताओं के शरीरों से भी बहुत बड़ा तेज निकला, और वह सब मिलकर एक हो गया।
Commentary
Ekyam samagacchata, "it became one." The theme of unity is central: the gods' scattered powers are useless separately, but united they become the Devi.
