जगाम सद्यस्तपसे स च वैश्यो महामुने । सन्दर्शनार्थमम्बाया नदीपुलिनसंस्थितः ॥ ९ ॥
jagāma sadyastapase sa cha vaiśhyo mahāmune sandarśhanārthamambāyā nadīpulinasaṁsthitaḥ
Translation
went at once to perform austerities, and so did the merchant, O great sage, staying on a river bank to gain a vision of the Mother.

महामुने! वे राजा और वैश्य तत्काल तपस्या के लिए चले गए और जगदम्बा के दर्शन के लिए नदी के तट पर रहकर तपस्या करने लगे।
