bowing to that illustrious sage of praiseworthy vows, weary of his excessive attachment and of the loss of his kingdom,

उत्तम व्रत का पालन करने वाले उन महाभाग महर्षि को प्रणाम किया। वे अत्यंत ममता और राज्य के छिन जाने से बहुत खिन्न हो चुके थे।
Commentary
Nirvinna, "weary, disenchanted": the teaching has done its work. Suratha now sees his attachment for what it is.
