Translation
Wounded by the point of the Devi's trident, he fell lifeless to the earth, shaking the whole world with its oceans, islands and mountains.

देवी के शूल की नोक से घायल होकर वह प्राणहीन होकर पृथ्वी पर गिरा, समुद्रों, द्वीपों और पर्वतों सहित समूची पृथ्वी को कँपाता हुआ।
