खड्गशूलगदादीनि यानि चास्त्राणि तेऽम्बिके । करपल्लवसङ्गीनि तैरस्मान् रक्ष सर्वतः ॥ २७ ॥
khaḍgaśhūlagadādīni yāni chāstrāṇi te’mbike karapallavasaṅgīni tairasmān rakṣha sarvataḥ
Translation
Whatever weapons are in your tender hands, O Ambika, the sword, spear, mace and the rest, with them protect us on every side."

हे अम्बिके! आपके कर-पल्लवों में जो खड्ग, शूल, गदा आदि अस्त्र हैं, उन सबसे हमारी सब ओर से रक्षा कीजिए।"
Commentary
Karapallava, "hands tender as young leaves": even when holding weapons, her hands are described as soft. The hymn ends in trust.
