शब्दात्मिका सुविमलर्ग्यजुषां निधान मुद्गीथरम्यपदपाठवतां च साम्नाम् । देवी त्रयी भगवती भवभावनाय वार्ता च सर्वजगतां परमार्तिहन्त्री ॥ १० ॥
śhabdātmikā suvimalargyajuṣhāṁ nidhāna mudgītharamyapadapāṭhavatāṁ cha sāmnām devī trayī bhagavatī bhavabhāvanāya vārtā cha sarvajagatāṁ paramārtihantrī
Translation
You are the soul of sound, the repository of the pure Rig and Yajur Vedas and of the Sama Veda with its lovely udgitha chants. You are the Devi, the three Vedas, Bhagavati; for the sustenance of the world you are livelihood, and you destroy the deepest suffering of all worlds.

आप शब्दस्वरूपा हैं, निर्मल ऋग्वेद, यजुर्वेद और उद्गीथ के मनोहर पदों वाले सामवेद का आधार हैं। आप देवी, त्रयी (तीनों वेद) और भगवती हैं; संसार के पालन के लिए आप ही वार्ता (जीविका) हैं, और सब लोकों की घोर पीड़ा का नाश करती हैं।
Commentary
She is both the highest (the three Vedas) and the most practical (varta, the livelihood of farming and trade). Nothing in life is outside her.
