उदग्रश्च रणे देव्या शिलावृक्षादिभिर्हतः । दन्तमुष्टितलैश्चैव करालश्च निपातितः ॥ १७ ॥
udagraśhcha raṇe devyā śhilāvṛikṣhādibhirhataḥ dantamuṣhṭitalaiśhchaiva karālaśhcha nipātitaḥ
Translation
Udagra was slain in battle by the Devi with stones, trees and the like, and Karala was felled with teeth, fists and slaps.

उदग्र को देवी ने रणभूमि में शिलाओं और वृक्षों आदि से मार डाला, और कराल को दाँतों, मुक्कों और थप्पड़ों से धराशायी कर दिया।

Verses 17–20 list the rest of the generals and how each fell. The Devi uses every kind of weapon, even bare hands.
