dṛiṣhṭvā tadāpatachchhūlaṁ devī śhūlamamuñchata tachchhūlaṁ śhatadhā tena nītaṁ sa cha mahāsuraḥ
Translation
Seeing that spear flying at her, the Devi loosed her own spear. By it his spear was shattered into a hundred pieces, and so was the great asura.
