Translation
Then, in his own capital, his powerful, wicked ministers took his treasury and army from him, now that he was weak.

तब उनकी अपनी राजधानी में ही उनके बलवान, दुष्ट और दुरात्मा मंत्रियों ने, राजा को निर्बल देखकर, उनका खजाना और सेना छीन ली।

The final betrayal comes from inside: his own ministers. Suratha loses not only power but trust, which is what makes his later attachment to them so painful.
