वरदाहं सुरगणा वरं यन्मनसेच्छथ । तं वृणुध्वं प्रयच्छामि जगतामुपकारकम् ॥ ३७ ॥
varadāhaṁ suragaṇā varaṁ yanmanasechchhatha taṁ vṛiṇudhvaṁ prayachchhāmi jagatāmupakārakam
Translation
"I am the giver of boons, O hosts of gods. Choose whatever boon you desire in your minds, one that benefits the worlds, and I will grant it."
Hindi Meaning (हिंदी अर्थ)
"देवताओ! मैं वर देने को तैयार हूँ। तुम्हारे मन में जो इच्छा हो, संसार का उपकार करने वाला वह वर माँग लो; मैं अवश्य दूँगी।"
