Translation
You who ride in a celestial car drawn by swans, taking the form of Brahmani, sprinkling water with kusha grass, O Devi Narayani, salutations to you.

हंसों से जुते विमान पर बैठने वाली, ब्रह्माणी का रूप धारण करने वाली और कुश-मिश्रित जल छिड़कने वाली नारायणी देवि! तुम्हें नमस्कार है।
Commentary
Verses 13–21 salute the Devi in each of the Matrika forms from chapter 8, beginning with Brahmani and her water (8.15, 9.38).
