Translation
Leaping up and seizing the Devi, he rose high into the sky; there too, without any support, Chandika fought him.

वह उछला और देवी को पकड़कर ऊपर आकाश में जा खड़ा हुआ; वहाँ भी चण्डिका बिना किसी आधार के उससे युद्ध करने लगीं।
Commentary
Niradhara, "without support": the Devi needs no ground to stand on. She is the support of everything.
