चिच्छेदापततस्तस्य मुद्गरं निशितैः शरैः । तथापि सोऽभ्यधावत्तां मुष्टिमुद्यम्य वेगवान् ॥ १९ ॥
chichchhedāpatatastasya mudgaraṁ niśhitaiḥ śharaiḥ tathāpi so’bhyadhāvattāṁ muṣhṭimudyamya vegavān
Translation
She cut his club with sharp arrows as he came on; even so he rushed at her swiftly, raising his fist.

उसके आते ही देवी ने तीखे बाणों से उसका मुद्गर भी काट डाला; फिर भी वह मुक्का तानकर बड़े वेग से उनकी ओर झपटा।
