Translation
"You are svaha, you are svadha, you are vashatkara; you are the very soul of sound.

"तुम्हीं स्वाहा हो, तुम्हीं स्वधा हो, तुम्हीं वषट्कार हो; स्वर भी तुम्हारे ही स्वरूप हैं।
Commentary
Brahma begins by naming the sacred ritual syllables: svaha (said when offering to the gods), svadha (to the ancestors) and vashat. The Devi is the power that makes every sacred word work.
