तत्सर्वं श्रोतुमिच्छामि त्वत्तो ब्रह्मविदां वर ॥ ६२ ॥
tatsarvaṁ śhrotumichchhāmi tvatto brahmavidāṁ vara
Translation
All of this I wish to hear from you, O best of the knowers of Brahman."

हे ब्रह्मवेत्ताओं में श्रेष्ठ! यह सब मैं आपसे सुनना चाहता हूँ।"

The request is sincere and complete. What follows, the three great episodes of the Devi, is the sage's answer.
