भगवंस्त्वामहं प्रष्टुमिच्छाम्येकं वदस्व तत् ॥ ४० ॥
bhagavaṁstvāmahaṁ praṣhṭumichchhāmyekaṁ vadasva tat
Translation
"Lord, I wish to ask you one thing; please explain it to me.

The king asks one question, not many. Suffering has brought his mind to a single point.
