ॐ नमो भगवते आञ्जनेयाय महाबलाय स्वाहा॥
Transliteration
Om Namo Bhagavate Anjaneyaya Mahabalaya Swaha.
A mantra built around one specific quality
Where the Manokamna Purti mantra is general-purpose, this one is specifically aimed at strength (mahabal) — physical stamina, mental resilience, and the courage to face a difficult task or period. It addresses Hanuman as Anjaneya, son of Anjana, and Mahabala, the mighty one.
How it's chanted
It's typically repeated in cycles of 108 on a mala, often by those preparing for something physically or mentally demanding — an exam, a competition, a health recovery, or simply a stretch of life that calls for more endurance than usual. Some traditions favour chanting it after physical exercise or a cold-water bath, tying the mantra to an embodied sense of building strength rather than only a mental one.
A note on consistency
As with most strength- or siddhi-oriented mantras, benefit is described as coming from sustained daily repetition over weeks, not a single session — it's treated as a practice to build, not a one-time invocation.
