मां हि पार्थ व्यपाश्रित्य येऽपि स्युः पापयोनयः । स्त्रियो वैश्यास्तथा शूद्रास्तेऽपि यान्ति परां गतिम् ॥ ३२ ॥
māṁ hi pārtha vyapāśhritya ye ’pi syuḥ pāpa-yonayaḥ striyo vaiśhyās tathā śhūdrās te ’pi yānti parāṁ gatim
Translation
For those who take refuge in me, O Parth — even those of lowly birth, women, vaishyas and shudras — they too reach the supreme goal.
Hindi Meaning (हिंदी अर्थ)
हे पार्थ! स्त्री, वैश्य, शूद्र तथा पापयोनि — जो कोई भी हों, वे भी मेरे शरण होकर परम गति को ही प्राप्त होते हैं।
Commentary
This verse names groups whom the society of its time often excluded from Vedic learning, and declares that devotion opens the highest goal to all of them without exception. The bhakti movement drew heavily on this universal promise.
