वेदेषु यज्ञेषु तपःसु चैव दानेषु यत्पुण्यफलं प्रदिष्टम् । अत्येति तत्सर्वमिदं विदित्वा योगी परं स्थानमुपैति चाद्यम् ॥ २८ ॥
vedeṣhu yajñeṣhu tapaḥsu chaiva dāneṣhu yat puṇya-phalaṁ pradiṣhṭam atyeti tat sarvam idaṁ viditvā yogī paraṁ sthānam upaiti chādyam
Translation
Whatever merit is declared for the Vedas, sacrifices, austerities and gifts — the yogi who knows this goes beyond it all and reaches the supreme, primal abode.

योगी पुरुष इस रहस्य को तत्त्व से जानकर वेदों के पढ़ने में, यज्ञ, तप और दानादि के करने में जो पुण्य फल कहा है, उन सबका निःसंदेह उल्लंघन कर जाता है और सनातन परम पद को प्राप्त होता है।
Commentary
The chapter closes by placing this knowledge above all ritual merit. Study, sacrifice, austerity and charity are good, but knowing and loving God surpasses them all and leads to the ādyam sthānam — the original, eternal abode.
