बलं बलवतां चाहं कामरागविवर्जितम् । धर्माविरुद्धो भूतेषु कामोऽस्मि भरतर्षभ ॥ ११ ॥
balaṁ balavatāṁ chāhaṁ kāma-rāga-vivarjitam dharmāviruddho bhūteṣhu kāmo ’smi bharatarṣhabha
Translation
Of the strong, I am the strength that is free from desire and passion; and in beings I am the desire that is not opposed to dharma, O best of the Bharatas.

हे भरतश्रेष्ठ! मैं बलवानों का कामना और आसक्ति से रहित बल हूँ, और सब प्राणियों में धर्म के अनुकूल काम हूँ।
Commentary
A notable verse: even desire (kāma) is divine when it does not oppose dharma. The Gita does not condemn human desire as such — only desire that breaks the moral order. Strength, likewise, is divine when free of selfish passion.
