यं लब्ध्वा चापरं लाभं मन्यते नाधिकं ततः । यस्मिन्स्थितो न दुःखेन गुरुणापि विचाल्यते ॥ २२ ॥
yaṁ labdhvā chāparaṁ lābhaṁ manyate nādhikaṁ tataḥ yasmin sthito na duḥkhena guruṇāpi vichālyate
Translation
— having gained which one thinks no other gain greater, and established in which one is not shaken even by great sorrow —

— जिस लाभ को प्राप्त होकर उसके अधिक दूसरा कुछ भी लाभ नहीं मानता, और जिसमें स्थित योगी बड़े भारी दुख से भी चलायमान नहीं होता —
Commentary
Two tests of the real thing: nothing else seems worth more, and even heavy suffering (duḥkhena guruṇā) cannot shake it. This is a very different kind of happiness from pleasure, which vanishes when pain arrives.
