लभन्ते ब्रह्मनिर्वाणमृषयः क्षीणकल्मषाः । छिन्नद्वैधा यतात्मानः सर्वभूतहिते रताः ॥ २५ ॥
labhante brahma-nirvāṇam ṛiṣhayaḥ kṣhīṇa-kalmaṣhāḥ chhinna-dvaidhā yatātmānaḥ sarva-bhūta-hite ratāḥ
Translation
The sages whose impurities are destroyed, whose doubts are cut away, who are self-controlled and devoted to the welfare of all beings, attain the peace of Brahman.

जिनके सब पाप नष्ट हो गए हैं, जिनके संशय ज्ञान द्वारा कट गए हैं, जो संयमी हैं और सब प्राणियों के हित में रत हैं, वे ऋषि ब्रह्मनिर्वाण को प्राप्त होते हैं।
Commentary
Sarva-bhūta-hite ratāḥ — "delighting in the welfare of all beings." Liberation in the Gita is not selfish escape. The realised sage is actively devoted to others' good; compassion is a mark of enlightenment, not a distraction from it.
