सक्ताः कर्मण्यविद्वांसो यथा कुर्वन्ति भारत । कुर्याद्विद्वांस्तथासक्तश्चिकीर्षुर्लोकसंग्रहम् ॥ २५ ॥
saktāḥ karmaṇyavidvānso yathā kurvanti bhārata kuryād vidvāns tathāsaktaśh chikīrṣhur loka-saṅgraham
Translation
As the unwise act with attachment to their work, O descendant of Bharat, so should the wise act without attachment, wishing to guide the world (loka-sangraha).

हे भारत! कर्म में आसक्त अज्ञानी जिस प्रकार कर्म करते हैं, आसक्ति-रहित ज्ञानी को भी लोकसंग्रह (संसार के मार्गदर्शन) की इच्छा से वैसे ही कर्म करना चाहिए।
Commentary
Loka-saṅgraha — holding the world together, guiding people rightly — is one of the Gita's key ideals. The wise work just as hard as anyone else; the difference is the motive. They act for others' welfare, not personal gain.
