न बुद्धिभेदं जनयेदज्ञानां कर्मसङ्गिनाम् । जोषयेत्सर्वकर्माणि विद्वान्युक्तः समाचरन् ॥ २६ ॥
na buddhi-bhedaṁ janayed ajñānāṁ karma-saṅginām joṣhayet sarva-karmāṇi vidvān yuktaḥ samācharan
Translation
The wise should not unsettle the minds of the ignorant who are attached to action; rather, acting with devotion themselves, they should inspire others to do all their work.
Hindi Meaning (हिंदी अर्थ)
ज्ञानी पुरुष को चाहिए कि कर्मों में आसक्त अज्ञानियों की बुद्धि में भ्रम उत्पन्न न करे; बल्कि स्वयं योगयुक्त होकर सब कर्मों को भली-भाँति करता हुआ उनसे भी वैसा ही करवाए।
Commentary
A lesson in how to teach. Telling people "work doesn't matter, only knowledge does" may lead them to abandon work before they are ready for anything higher. Better to show the right attitude by doing the work well oneself.
