विहाय कामान्यः सर्वान्पुमांश्चरति निःस्पृहः । निर्ममो निरहङ्कारः स शान्तिमधिगच्छति ॥ ७१ ॥
vihāya kāmān yaḥ sarvān pumānśh charati niḥspṛihaḥ nirmamo nirahankāraḥ sa śhāntim adhigachchhati
Translation
One who gives up all desires and moves about free from longing, without the sense of "mine" and without ego — that person attains peace.

जो पुरुष सब कामनाओं को त्यागकर, लालसा-रहित, ममता-रहित और अहंकार-रहित होकर विचरता है, वह शांति को प्राप्त होता है।
Commentary
Nirmamaḥ (without "mine") and nirahaṅkāraḥ (without "I") name the two roots of restlessness: possessiveness and ego. Note that such a person still "moves about" (charati) — lives and acts in the world — but lightly, without clutching.
