एषा ब्राह्मी स्थितिः पार्थ नैनां प्राप्य विमुह्यति । स्थित्वास्यामन्तकालेऽपि ब्रह्मनिर्वाणमृच्छति ॥ ७२ ॥
eṣhā brāhmī sthitiḥ pārtha naināṁ prāpya vimuhyati sthitvāsyām anta-kāle ’pi brahma-nirvāṇam ṛichchhati
Translation
This is the state of Brahman, O Parth; having attained it, one is no longer deluded. Established in it even at the hour of death, one attains the peace of Brahman (brahma-nirvana).
Hindi Meaning (हिंदी अर्थ)
हे पार्थ! यह ब्राह्मी स्थिति है; इसे पाकर मनुष्य फिर मोहित नहीं होता। अंतकाल में भी इसमें स्थित होकर वह ब्रह्मनिर्वाण को प्राप्त होता है।
Commentary
The chapter ends by naming this state brāhmī sthiti — being established in Brahman, the Absolute. Its promise is complete: no more delusion (the very problem Arjun began with in 2.7), and at death, the peace of Brahman. Chapter 2 is often called a summary of the whole Gita, and this verse is its seal.
