tāni sarvāṇi sanyamya yukta āsīta mat-paraḥ vaśhe hi yasyendriyāṇi tasya prajñā pratiṣhṭhitā
Translation
Restraining them all, one should sit in yoga, devoted to me. For one whose senses are under control, wisdom is firmly established.
Hindi Meaning (हिंदी अर्थ)
Commentary
Here, for the first time in the Gita, Krishna says mat-paraḥ — "devoted to me." After naming the difficulty in the previous verse, he offers the solution: not willpower alone, but turning the mind towards God. This is the seed of the bhakti teaching that will flower in later chapters.
