अच्छेद्योऽयमदाह्योऽयमक्लेद्योऽशोष्य एव च । नित्यः सर्वगतः स्थाणुरचलोऽयं सनातनः ॥ २४ ॥
achchhedyo ’yam adāhyo ’yam akledyo ’śhoṣhya eva cha nityaḥ sarva-gataḥ sthāṇur achalo ’yaṁ sanātanaḥ
Translation
It cannot be cut, burned, wetted or dried. It is eternal, all-pervading, stable, unmoving and ancient.

यह आत्मा अच्छेद्य है, अदाह्य है, अक्लेद्य है और अशोष्य है। यह नित्य, सर्वव्यापी, स्थिर, अचल और सनातन है।
Commentary
Krishna restates the previous verse as qualities of the self itself, then adds five positive descriptions. Sthāṇu (stable) and achala (unmoving) are words used for mountains — the self is the one thing in a person that does not shift, however much life changes around it.
