Bhagavad Gita — Chapter 16, Verse 22

Daivasura Sampad Vibhaga Yoga

etair vimuktaḥ kaunteya tamo-dvārais tribhir naraḥ ācharaty ātmanaḥ śhreyas tato yāti parāṁ gatim

Translation

One who is freed from these three gates of darkness, O son of Kunti, does what is good for the soul and thereby reaches the supreme goal.

Hindi Meaning (हिंदी अर्थ)

Commentary

The positive side: once free of desire, anger and greed, a person naturally begins to act for their true good (shreyas). Spiritual progress is described here less as adding something and more as removing obstacles; what remains will find its way.
