Bhagavad Gita — Chapter 14, Verse 2

Gunatraya Vibhaga Yoga

Translation

Those who take refuge in this knowledge and come to share My nature are not born even at creation, nor are they troubled at the dissolution.

Hindi Meaning (हिंदी अर्थ)

Commentary

Sadharmyam, "sharing the same nature," is carefully chosen. The liberated soul becomes like God in being free from the gunas. Different schools read this either as merging or as a likeness within a relationship. Such a soul is no longer swept along by the cosmic cycles of creation and dissolution described in 8.17–19 and 9.7–8.
