Bhagavad Gita — Chapter 13, Verse 29

Kshetra Kshetrajna Vibhaga Yoga

prakṛityaiva cha karmāṇi kriyamāṇāni sarvaśhaḥ yaḥ paśhyati tathātmānam akartāraṁ sa paśhyati

Translation

One who sees that all actions are performed entirely by prakriti, and that the Self is not the doer, truly sees.

Hindi Meaning (हिंदी अर्थ)

Commentary

This is the second "sa pashyati" verse. It connects with 3.27, where the ego mistakes nature's actions for its own. The Self is akarta, "not the doer." This is not an excuse for irresponsibility. It frees one from the anxiety of thinking "I alone make everything happen."
