Bhagavad Gita — Chapter 13, Verse 26

Kshetra Kshetrajna Vibhaga Yoga

yāvat sañjāyate kiñchit sattvaṁ sthāvara-jaṅgamam kṣhetra-kṣhetrajña-sanyogāt tad viddhi bharatarṣhabha

Translation

Whatever being is born, unmoving or moving, know that it arises from the union of the field and the knower of the field, O best of the Bharatas.

Hindi Meaning (हिंदी अर्थ)

Commentary

Every living thing, from a tree to a human being, is a meeting of the two: matter and consciousness. Neither alone makes a living being. This gives a single lens for looking at all of life: in each creature, look for the field and the one who knows it.
