Bhagavad Gita — Chapter 13, Verse 25

Kshetra Kshetrajna Vibhaga Yoga

anye tv evam ajānantaḥ śhrutvānyebhya upāsate te ’pi chātitaranty eva mṛityuṁ śhruti-parāyaṇāḥ

Translation

Yet others, not knowing these paths, worship after hearing from others. They too, devoted to what they have heard, cross beyond death.

Hindi Meaning (हिंदी अर्थ)

Commentary

This is one of the Gita's most generous verses. Those without learning or discipline, who simply listen to saints and teachers with faith and act on it, are not left out. Shruti-parayanah, "devoted to what they heard," describes much of ordinary devotional life: kathas, satsangs and hearing scripture from those who know it.
