Translation
But hear also, O best of the twice-born, about the distinguished leaders of our own army; I name them for your information.

हे द्विजश्रेष्ठ! अब हमारे पक्ष के उन प्रमुख सेनानायकों को भी जान लीजिए; आपकी जानकारी के लिए मैं उनके नाम बताता हूँ।
Commentary
Having spent three verses on the enemy, Duryodhan now turns to his own side — and addresses Drona as "best of the twice-born," a Brahmin. It is polite on the surface, but it may also hint at a doubt: a Brahmin teacher who loves the Pandavas might not fight wholeheartedly. Telling Drona about generals he already knows well is a speech meant to steady Duryodhan himself.
