यत्र काले त्वनावृत्तिमावृत्तिं चैव योगिनः । प्रयाता यान्ति तं कालं वक्ष्यामि भरतर्षभ ॥ २३ ॥

Translation
Now I shall tell you, O best of the Bharatas, of the times at which yogis depart and do not return, and of those at which they depart and return.
Hindi Meaning (हिंदी अर्थ)
हे भरतश्रेष्ठ! जिस काल में शरीर त्यागकर गए हुए योगीजन तो वापस न लौटने वाली गति को, और जिस काल में गए हुए वापस लौटने वाली गति को प्राप्त होते हैं, वह काल अर्थात् दोनों मार्ग मैं कहूँगा।
Commentary
Verses 23–26 describe two paths after death, drawn from older Upanishadic teaching: one leading to liberation, the other to return. Commentators read the "times" as presiding deities of light and darkness along each path.
