मामुपेत्य पुनर्जन्म दुःखालयमशाश्वतम् । नाप्नुवन्ति महात्मानः संसिद्धिं परमां गताः ॥ १५ ॥
mām upetya punar janma duḥkhālayam aśhāśhvatam nāpnuvanti mahātmānaḥ sansiddhiṁ paramāṁ gatāḥ
Translation
Having come to me, the great souls who have reached the highest perfection do not return to rebirth — to this impermanent home of sorrow.

परम सिद्धि को प्राप्त महात्माजन मुझको प्राप्त होकर दुखों के घर एवं क्षणभंगुर पुनर्जन्म को नहीं प्राप्त होते।
Commentary
Duḥkhālayam aśhāśhvatam — "a home of sorrow, impermanent." Krishna names the two defining features of worldly existence. Reaching God ends the cycle of returning to it.
