आब्रह्मभुवनाल्लोकाः पुनरावर्तिनोऽर्जुन । मामुपेत्य तु कौन्तेय पुनर्जन्म न विद्यते ॥ १६ ॥
ā-brahma-bhuvanāl lokāḥ punar āvartino ’rjuna mām upetya tu kaunteya punar janma na vidyate
Translation
All the worlds, up to the realm of Brahma, are subject to return, Arjun; but on reaching me, O son of Kunti, there is no rebirth.
Hindi Meaning (हिंदी अर्थ)
हे अर्जुन! ब्रह्मलोक तक के सब लोक पुनरावर्ती हैं, परंतु हे कौन्तेय! मुझको प्राप्त होकर पुनर्जन्म नहीं होता।
Commentary
Even the highest heavens are temporary. Only God's own abode is beyond the cycle. This puts all religious rewards short of God himself into perspective.
