तपस्विभ्योऽधिको योगी ज्ञानिभ्योऽपि मतोऽधिकः । कर्मिभ्यश्चाधिको योगी तस्माद्योगी भवार्जुन ॥ ४६ ॥
tapasvibhyo ’dhiko yogī jñānibhyo ’pi mato ’dhikaḥ karmibhyaśh chādhiko yogī tasmād yogī bhavārjuna
Translation
The yogi is greater than the ascetics, considered greater even than the scholars, and greater than those devoted to ritual action. Therefore, Arjun, be a yogi.

योगी तपस्वियों से श्रेष्ठ है, शास्त्रज्ञानियों से भी श्रेष्ठ माना गया है, और सकाम कर्म करने वालों से भी योगी श्रेष्ठ है; इसलिए हे अर्जुन! तुम योगी बनो।
Commentary
Tasmād yogī bhavārjuna — "therefore, Arjun, be a yogi." The yogi — one who unites with the Divine — surpasses those who only practise austerity, only study, or only perform rituals. Each of those has value, but union is the goal they all point to.
