Bhagavad Gita — Chapter 6, Verse 14

praśhāntātmā vigata-bhīr brahmachāri-vrate sthitaḥ manaḥ sanyamya mach-chitto yukta āsīta mat-paraḥ

Translation

Serene and fearless, firm in the vow of brahmacharya, controlling the mind and thinking of me, the yogi should sit absorbed, devoted to me as the supreme goal.

Hindi Meaning (हिंदी अर्थ)

Commentary

The inner attitude matters as much as posture: calm, fearless, self-restrained, and — most importantly — with the mind given to God (mat-chittaḥ, mat-paraḥ). Meditation in the Gita is ultimately devotional.
