भोक्तारं यज्ञतपसां सर्वलोकमहेश्वरम् । सुहृदं सर्वभूतानां ज्ञात्वा मां शान्तिमृच्छति ॥ २९ ॥
bhoktāraṁ yajña-tapasāṁ sarva-loka-maheśhvaram suhṛidaṁ sarva-bhūtānāṁ jñātvā māṁ śhāntim ṛichchhati
Translation
Knowing me as the enjoyer of all sacrifices and austerities, the great Lord of all the worlds, and the friend of all beings, one attains peace.
Hindi Meaning (हिंदी अर्थ)
मुझे सब यज्ञों और तपों का भोक्ता, संपूर्ण लोकों के ईश्वरों का भी ईश्वर, और सब प्राणियों का सुहृद् (निःस्वार्थ मित्र) — ऐसा तत्त्व से जानकर मनुष्य शांति को प्राप्त होता है।
Commentary
The chapter ends on a warm, personal note. God is not only the cosmic Lord who receives all offerings, but suhṛidaṁ sarva-bhūtānām — the well-wishing friend of every being. Knowing that we are befriended by the Divine is itself the source of peace.
