नादत्ते कस्यचित्पापं न चैव सुकृतं विभुः । अज्ञानेनावृतं ज्ञानं तेन मुह्यन्ति जन्तवः ॥ १५ ॥
nādatte kasyachit pāpaṁ na chaiva sukṛitaṁ vibhuḥ ajñānenāvṛitaṁ jñānaṁ tena muhyanti jantavaḥ
Translation
The all-pervading Lord does not take on anyone's sin or merit. Knowledge is covered by ignorance, and so beings are deluded.

सर्वव्यापी परमेश्वर न किसी के पाप को ग्रहण करते हैं, न पुण्य को। अज्ञान से ज्ञान ढका हुआ है, इसीसे सब जीव मोहित हो रहे हैं।
Commentary
We cannot hand our sins or merits to God to hold for us; each of us carries our own. The root problem is not God's judgement but our ignorance, which hides the truth of who we are.
