सर्वकर्माणि मनसा संन्यस्यास्ते सुखं वशी । नवद्वारे पुरे देही नैव कुर्वन्न कारयन् ॥ १३ ॥

Translation
Mentally renouncing all actions, the self-controlled embodied one dwells happily in the city of nine gates, neither acting nor causing action.

अंतःकरण जिसके वश में है, ऐसा देहधारी पुरुष मन से सब कर्मों को त्यागकर नौ द्वारों वाले शरीर रूपी नगर में न कुछ करता हुआ और न करवाता हुआ सुखपूर्वक रहता है।
Commentary
The body as a "city of nine gates" — two eyes, two ears, two nostrils, mouth, and the organs of excretion and generation. The self lives in this city like a peaceful resident, not like a harried worker running every gate.
