निराशीर्यतचित्तात्मा त्यक्तसर्वपरिग्रहः । शारीरं केवलं कर्म कुर्वन्नाप्नोति किल्बिषम् ॥ २१ ॥
nirāśhīr yata-chittātmā tyakta-sarva-parigrahaḥ śhārīraṁ kevalaṁ karma kurvan nāpnoti kilbiṣham
Translation
Without expectation, with mind and body controlled, giving up all sense of possession, doing only bodily action, one incurs no sin.

जिसका अंतःकरण और शरीर वश में है, जिसने सब भोग-सामग्री का त्याग कर दिया है, ऐसा आशा-रहित पुरुष केवल शरीर-संबंधी कर्म करता हुआ भी पाप को प्राप्त नहीं होता।
Commentary
When the ego and its craving are absent, even necessary bodily actions — eating, walking, working — leave no karmic residue. What binds is not the act itself but the "I want, I own" behind it.
