त्यक्त्वा कर्मफलासङ्गं नित्यतृप्तो निराश्रयः । कर्मण्यभिप्रवृत्तोऽपि नैव किञ्चित्करोति सः ॥ २० ॥
tyaktvā karma-phalāsaṅgaṁ nitya-tṛipto nirāśhrayaḥ karmaṇyabhipravṛitto ’pi naiva kiñchit karoti saḥ
Translation
Giving up attachment to the fruits of action, ever content and dependent on nothing, such a person does nothing at all, even though fully engaged in action.
Hindi Meaning (हिंदी अर्थ)
जो पुरुष कर्मफल की आसक्ति त्यागकर, सदा तृप्त और आश्रय-रहित है, वह कर्मों में भली-भाँति लगा हुआ भी वास्तव में कुछ भी नहीं करता।
Commentary
Nirāśhrayaḥ — dependent on nothing — describes someone whose sense of security does not rest on outcomes. Such a person can be very busy outwardly while remaining inwardly at rest.
